Christian County Library makes regular visits to senior centers across the county. At the Ozark and Nixa Senior Centers, the library currently hosts monthly craft sessions. Other services available to senior centers include deposit book collections, library card drives, craft and technology classes. The Christian County Library serves senior living facilities, nursing homes, and group homes across the county. Services available include personalized selection and delivery of a wide variety of library materials to individuals living in facilities, deposit collections of materials in some facilities, and group programs of many types, with a special focus on programs connecting with residents with Alzheimer’s or dementia.
